Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

Walt Disney is a hero to many, but his hero was Abraham Lincoln. When he was approached to create an attraction for the 1964 World's Fair that would be sponsored by the state of Illinois, he quickly decided to bring his hero back to life in audio-animatronic form in Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.

The attraction dazzled audiences at the fair and was transported to DISNEYLAND after it ended its successful run. Installed on Main Street, the amazing attraction was one of Walt Disney's favorites and it remains today as a patriotic salute to one of America's greatest presidents, dreamed up by one of its greatest visionaries.
