In 1955, there were few people outside of Walt Disney Productions who believed in Disneyland. Many in Hollywood felt that the park would close in six months, becoming a forgotten misfire that would bring down Walt Disney Productions with it. Instead, Walt Disney’s “latest and greatest dream” would bring the world to an unknown orange grove, attracting millions of guests who would be inspired by the happiest place on earth- Walt Disney’s one and only Magic Kingdom.
