In 1970, Walt Disney Productions released the last animated film supervised and approved by Walt Disney- The Aristocats. While other ideas- like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast- had been in various stages of development prior to Mr. Disney's death, The Aristocats was the last one had actually been approved for production by Mr. Disney.
