When DISNEYLAND first opened, Tom Sawyer's Island had a spot where guests could fish for real, live fish. A nice, quaint activity with obvious logistic problems. Who would want to carry fish around all day at the park? Where would tourists store the fish once they returned to their hotel rooms? Once the reality set in, this activity was quickly relegated to "yesterland" and the only fish that remained in DISNEYLAND would be of the plastic variety.
