60 Days of DISNEYLAND #42: Harriet's Candy Mountain


When DISNEYLAND bought the road that ran behind the park in the 1950's, Walt Disney started dreaming up ideas for the parcel of land. One idea was a roller coaster through Big Rock Candy Mountain. Mr. Disney commissioned Harriet Burns to make a three dimensional model of the attraction, which would been placed where the Fantasyland Theater is today. The project was dropped, but a replica of Harriet's model can be found at Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure.
